Hi, and thanks for dropping by Barmoodie Kennels and Cattery. We live in the beautiful countryside of Ayshire on the southwest coast of Scotland. Our kennels bask on three acres of prime land, and our location makes Barmoodie a firm favourite with our pet guests. Our Dogs have lots of space to roam... plenty of clean fresh air (away from the busy towns) and lots of love, care and attention to look forward too when they visit. We love our dogs and we strive to make their stay with us as pleasurable as possible.
Our Kennels are extremely comfortable, heated, spacious, secure and very clean. We have been boarding and breeding dogs for many years. We have a special passion for German Shepherds, but we love all dogs and cats. We breed top-class German Shepherds, and our goal as breeders is to keep the original qualities that the breed is known for, while at the same time making improvements for the overall betterment of the breed. On average we only produce two litters of pups per year and they are bred for quality following careful research and planning of pedigrees

Please Note: All dogs entering the kennel must produce an up to date, yearly vaccination certificate against distemper, hepatitus, leptospirosis and parvo virus. Kennel cough - intrac vaccination every 12 months. All cats entering the kennel must produce an up to date, yearly vaccination certificate against feline enteritus and cat flu. We are extremely busy during the holiday season, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
