Barmoodie Boarding Kennels & Cattery is located in Ayrshire, on the beautiful southwest coast of Scotland. Our boarding kennels bask in three acres of prime Scottish countryside, away from the noise and polution of the busy towns. Our secluded location provides an ideal, stress-free environment for our pet guests. Our kennels are modern, spacious, heated and extremely comfortable. Fresh bedding is provided daily for both cats and dogs with treats given at bed-time. Our pet guests are walked twice-daily (Minimum) and great out-door runs and paddocks are provided for healthy exercise.

We have indoor heated kennels to keep your pets warm and comfortable during the cold winter months. We only serve our pets the finest balanced premium food to keep them fit and healthy. If your pet requires any special medication, you can rest knowing that we will take care of that for you.

We love our animals and will take care of yours as if they were our own. Barmoodie Kennels are also breeders of top-class German Shepherd dogs. We only produce a couple of litters per year, so they are eargely awaited on by the public. We've recently started breeding Norwich Terriers from champion bloodlines and we're in the process of adding other breeds to our growing list. All of our puppies are KC Registered and come with a puppy sales contract, diet sheet, 6 weeks insurance and a pedigree certificate. Puppy details can be obtained from our puppy page.

Barmoodie Kennels are also pleased to offer our customers a micro-chipping service. Many pet owners are now recognising that micro-chipping is the best way to identify their pet. It offers complete peace of mind, so in the awful event of you losing your pet, you should be reunited with them, quickly. The micro-chipping procedure is quick, and painless. We also offer a great selection of pet items and products from our shop. We stock many of the leading brands, including: Pedigree, Eukanuba, James Wellbeloved, Skinners, Wafcol, Chappie, Wonder Dog, Wagg, and Gold Sport. Other items that we stock, include: Pet beds, cages, crates, treats, toys, leads, collars, frozen food, bird food, rabbit food, cat food, litter, tripe, bones, pigs ears, dental sticks and puffed jerky. We're constantly adding new products to our shop - so please check-back often for updates.

Please Note: All dogs entering the kennel must produce an up to date, yearly vaccination certificate against distemper, hepatitus, leptospirosis and parvo virus. Kennel cough - intrac vaccination every 12 months. All cats entering the kennel must produce an up to date, yearly vaccination certificate against feline enteritus and cat flu. We are extremely busy during the holiday season, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
